Meetings and Membership:

The FAHA meets once a month, April through December, with a brief business meeting, a planned program, and a dinner or refreshments served. Proven to be of special interest are the summer-solstice evening celebration, with a traditional bonfire; the annual fish fry, professionally prepared by Hil-Mak's Restaurant; and 'Pikku Joulu,' or little Christmas. Meetings and memberships are not exclusively Finnish. Anyone with an interest of curiosity is welcome to attend any meeting or special programs which are announced through area newspapers. Although FAHA is affiliated with the Ashtabula Area Museum & Historical Society, each organization maintains its own agenda.
