Upcoming meetings and programs 2014:

  May 31 Saturday, May 31, at 4 pm, the FAHA will meet at the Hubbard House Underground Railroad Museum, 1603 Walnut Blvd. in Ashtabula. Sue Masirovits will present a talk on "Pioneers of Ashtabula County". Entrance is now on the west side at the new addition, handicap accesible. Refreshments will be provided.

 Special event!!! May 8 A bus trip to the Cleveland Orchestra concert on Thursday, May 8 at 7:30 pm is planned. Osmo Vanska is conducting two symphonies by Finnish composers, Sibelius and Sallinen, and there is also a Grieg piano concerto with Garrick Olson, pianist. On May 8, the vans for the Cleveland Orchestra concert will leave promptly at 4 pm, from the Bethany Lutheran Church parking lot, 933 Michigan Ave.

Cost per person is $29.50 and reservations are due by March 10.

  The Finnish American Heritage Association will meet again in April, 2014. The Finnish American Cultural Center is open by appointment only until May 24, 2014.
